Drake Design Studio provides a highly personalized approach to architectural and landscape design that uniquely suits each site and client. Working closely with clients, contractors and consultants, we create spaces that are practical, thoughtful, and timeless. By offering the ability to design both building and landscape, we emphasize and enhance connections between interiors and the natural world beyond.

Principal and founder Sarah Drake Weihman, ASLA, received a B.A. in Art History from Dartmouth College. After working in the arts in NYC, she received a Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. During her graduate studies she completed studios in Barcelona and Venice, and was awarded two research grants in France. Upon graduation, she opened and managed a satellite office in Newport, Rhode Island for Charlottesville-based Madison Spencer Architects.

Drake Design Studio, LLC was founded in 2006 and has completed projects on a range of scales in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont.
