Drake Design Studio

Drake Design Studio was hired to provide design drawings for a building renovation that connects two 18th-century farmhouses, to be used as an inn and an adult tennis camp. Drawings feature a new sunroom and porch that connects the two existing buildings, with traditional architectural detailing tying the structures together. The function of the buildings demands flexible space, and DDS worked closely with the camp owner and contractor to ensure the building can house 14 guests comfortably in a variety of arrangements. Construction date to be determined.

Jenkins Construction Company hired DDS to prepare measured drawings and a hand-drawn perspective of a new commercial building at their headquarters on Aquidneck Avenue. The project also included parking lot layout and landscape design. The drawings are complete and the permitting process is underway, with construction slated for a later date.
