PROJECT DETAILS:

This 1809 home overlooking Long Island Sound has been lovingly restored while maintaining much of the original detail. The owners hired DDS to create outdoor spaces where their kids could play and explore and also provide space for entertaining. New retaining walls created three level lawn spaces, a welcome addition for parties. A terrace with built-in benches, grill and sink provide a casual space for eating al fresco. A large vegetable and herb garden and outdoor shower were added as well as a series of gas lanterns which lend a warm and romantic glow.
