PROJECT DETAILS:

Windridge Tennis Camps have been offering the summer camp experience to kids since 1968 and have recently added events and adult tennis camps to their offerings. In order to accommodate overnight stays for adults and wedding parties, the camp sought to connect two antique farmhouses, one of which was moved to the site, to create an inn. Drake Design Studio was the project architect for this renovation, which entailed carving out enough bedroom and en suite bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The central design feature, however, is a new porch that serves to connect the two buildings and also provides an outdoor space where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.
